Engineered Micro-Cell Surface Texturing

Standard flat flexo plates suffer from ink pinholing and uneven laydown on impermeable substrates like BOPP and poly films.

Flexom applies proprietary microscopic surface cells (10 to 30 microns) directly into the plate solids during laser imaging. This micro-pattern holds and transfers ink with 100% uniformity, increasing optical density while reducing ink consumption by up to 20%.
